Jeremy Hawke is our principle Podiatrist.  His profession is also referred to by the public as Foot Doctor, Foot Specialist and Foot Physician.

We offer specialist treatments and care for  podiatric medical conditions of the feet, including Heel Pain, Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Corns, Callous, Ingrown Nails, Ankle Pain, Knee Pain, Hip Pain and Back Pain.

All of our surgical instruments are sterilized to Australian National standards.

Our management plans include various treatment options, including Prescription Foot Orthotics (or inserts).  Physical therapy may include leg or foot massage, ultrasound therapy, anatomical manipulation.

We have a specialist interest in Sports Podiatry, Children’s Podiatry (Pediatric Podiatry), Diabetes foot education and management, and WorkCover/Occupational Podiatry.

There is only a small gap charge for Medicare patients with GP referrals, Chronic medical conditions, including Diabetes and Osteoarthritis, for certain groups of the general public.  Pensioners or Health Care cardholders can receive 10% discount off all our services.  Radiological invest-including X-rays, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Bone Scan, MRI, Cat Scans.  Minor surgical procedures include removal of nail spicules, debridement of skin ulcerations.

We are able to diagnose conditions existing in the feet and prescribe the necessary short, medium and long-term management strategies.  When necessary, you will be referred to other medical specialists if Trans disciplinary primary health care management is required.

We see department of Veterans affairs (DVA) patients. Private health funds are claimed on the spot through HICAPS, which simplifies the claiming process.

We service all areas surrounding Cairns including Babinda, Innisfail, Port Douglas, Atherton and Mareeba, in our Cairns Surgery.
